3,325. Second-Hand Use of Terumah Oil

Terumos 11:8

A kohein may rub terumah oil on himself and then take his daughter’s son – a Yisroel – and roll the child on his back. If he rubs terumah oil on his body and then enters a bathhouse, a non-kohein may massage him there even though the oil will get on him.

Terumos 11:9

If the daughter of a kohein applies terumah clover to her hair, a Yisroel woman may not use the surplus, but she may rub her hair with that of kohein woman. Kohanim were given the right to apply terumah clover to their hair because it’s not used as food for people.
