Orlah 2:7-8

Orlah 2:7

The ruling about stringent and lenient when it comes to a species mixed with a different kind is as follows: if beans of terumah were cooked with regular lentils and they impart taste, the dish is prohibited regardless of whether or not there is a ratio of 1-in-100. If they do not impart taste, the dish is permitted regardless of whether or not there is a ratio of 1-in-100.

Orlah 2:8

If regular leaven fell into dough and it was enough to cause it to leaven, then some terumah leaven or leaven of mixed species fell into the dough and it is also enough to cause it to leaven, the dough is prohibited. (Even though the additional leaven is not necessary, it still accelerates the leavening process.)
