1,461. A Tumtum and an Androginos

Hilchos Ishus 4:11

If a tumtum (a person of indeterminate gender) or an androginos (a hermaphrodite) consecrates a woman or is consecrated by a man, there is a doubt as to whether or not marriage is effected. In such a case, a get must be given because of the doubt.

Hilchos Ishus 4:12

If a man consecrates a woman who is one of the prohibited relationships, his actions are meaningless because marriage cannot be effected with these relationships except for a niddah (menstruant). If a man consecrates a niddah, marriage is wholly effected, though it is inappropriate for a man to do this.
