Freewill and the Hardening of Pharaoh's Heart (part 1)
Hashem hardening Pharaoh's heart seems to go against a basic tenet of our belief in free will and that God is just. How have Chazal dealt with this theological challenge throughout the ages?
The Torah itself seems to say that Hashem hardened Pharaoh's heart in order to publicize His double message - God's greatness and so the Egyptians know that He is God.
