The Mishkan: Purpose, Meaning, and Relevance (part 2)
The Mishkan showed us that it is possible to take God with us wherever we go, even in exile. Abravanel: Everything that occurs in the Beit HaMikdash is meant to teach us how to act in our daily lives. He writes that unfortunately Bnei Yisrael began to think of it as the House of G-d which is a form of Avodah Zarah - to think that God is contained in one place!
