Yitzchak and Rivka and the Brachot

After seeing Yishmael's expulsion, Yitzchak wanted to do everything possible to avoid anyone else being expelled from his family. Rivkah's mission is to fulfill the prophecy to ensure Yaakov becomes the chosen one. She didn't know any other way to fulfill the prophecy was via trickery. Ultimately Yitzchak realizes Rivkah was right.
