Avraham: Patriarch of Faith and Morality or Religion?
Avraham chose and was chosen by God for doing the right thing (Bereshit 18). He wasn't the first monotheist but he was the first to create a movement. On the other hand, he lived before the Torah (the basis of Judaism) is given. How do Chazal deal with this conflict? What does the Gemara mean when it says the forefathers kept all the mitzvot?
