Chapter 31
(א) וַיֵּ֖לֶךְ מֹשֶׁ֑ה וַיְדַבֵּ֛ר אֶת־הַדְּבָרִ֥ים הָאֵ֖לֶּה אֶל־כׇּל־יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ (ב) וַיֹּ֣אמֶר אֲלֵהֶ֗ם בֶּן־מֵאָה֩ וְעֶשְׂרִ֨ים שָׁנָ֤ה אָנֹכִי֙ הַיּ֔וֹם לֹא־אוּכַ֥ל ע֖וֹד לָצֵ֣את וְלָב֑וֹא וַֽיהֹוָה֙ אָמַ֣ר אֵלַ֔י לֹ֥א תַעֲבֹ֖ר אֶת־הַיַּרְדֵּ֥ן הַזֶּֽה׃ (ג) יְהֹוָ֨ה אֱלֹהֶ֜יךָ ה֣וּא ׀ עֹבֵ֣ר לְפָנֶ֗יךָ הֽוּא־יַשְׁמִ֞יד אֶת־הַגּוֹיִ֥ם הָאֵ֛לֶּה מִלְּפָנֶ֖יךָ וִירִשְׁתָּ֑ם יְהוֹשֻׁ֗עַ ה֚וּא עֹבֵ֣ר לְפָנֶ֔יךָ כַּאֲשֶׁ֖ר דִּבֶּ֥ר יְהֹוָֽה׃
(א) וַאֲזַל משֶׁה וּמַלִּיל יָת פִּתְגָּמַיָּא הָאִלֵּין עִם כָּל יִשְׂרָאֵל: (ב) וַאֲמַר לְהוֹן בַּר מְאָה וְעֶשְׂרִין שְׁנִין אֲנָא יוֹמָא דֵין לֵית אֲנָא יָכִיל עוֹד לְמִפַּק וּלְמֵעָל וַיְיָ אֲמַר לִי לָא תְעִבַּר יָת יַרְדְּנָא הָדֵין: (ג) יְיָ אֱלָהָךְ מֵימְרֵיהּ יֵעִבַר קֳדָמָךְ הוּא יְשֵׁצֵי יָת עַמְמַיָּא הָאִלֵּין מִקֳּדָמָךְ וְתֵירְתִנּוּן יְהוֹשֻׁעַ הוּא עָבֵר קֳדָמָךְ כְּמָא דִי מַלִּיל יְיָ:
1. Moshe went and he spoke these words with all Israel. 2. He said to them, “I am 120 years old today; I am no longer able to go and to come, and Hashem has said to me, ‘You shall not cross this Jordan.’ 3. Hashem your God – He will cross before you, He will destroy these nations from before you, and you will inherit them. Yehoshua – he will cross before you, as Hashem has spoken.
