(יב) לְמַ֣עַן הָקִֽים־אֹתְךָ֩ הַיּ֨וֹם ׀ ל֜וֹ לְעָ֗ם וְה֤וּא יִֽהְיֶה־לְּךָ֙ לֵֽאלֹהִ֔ים כַּאֲשֶׁ֖ר דִּבֶּר־לָ֑ךְ וְכַאֲשֶׁ֤ר נִשְׁבַּע֙ לַאֲבֹתֶ֔יךָ לְאַבְרָהָ֥ם לְיִצְחָ֖ק וּֽלְיַעֲקֹֽב׃ (יג) וְלֹ֥א אִתְּכֶ֖ם לְבַדְּכֶ֑ם אָנֹכִ֗י כֹּרֵת֙ אֶת־הַבְּרִ֣ית הַזֹּ֔את וְאֶת־הָאָלָ֖ה הַזֹּֽאת׃ (יד) כִּי֩ אֶת־אֲשֶׁ֨ר יֶשְׁנ֜וֹ פֹּ֗ה עִמָּ֙נוּ֙ עֹמֵ֣ד הַיּ֔וֹם לִפְנֵ֖י יְהֹוָ֣ה אֱלֹהֵ֑ינוּ וְאֵ֨ת אֲשֶׁ֥ר אֵינֶ֛נּוּ פֹּ֖ה עִמָּ֥נוּ הַיּֽוֹם׃
(יב) בְּדִיל לַאֲקָמָא יָתָךְ יוֹמָא דֵין קֳדָמוֹהִי לְעַמָּא וְהוּא יְהֵי לָךְ לֶאֱלָהּ כְּמָא דִי מַלִּיל לָךְ וּכְמָא דִי קַיִּים לַאֲבָהָתָךְ לְאַבְרָהָם לְיִצְחָק וּלְיַעֲקֹב: (יג) וְלָא עִמְּכוֹן בִּלְחוֹדֵיכוֹן אֲנָא גְּזַר יָת קְיָמָא הָדָא וְיָת מוֹמָתָא הָדָא: (יד) אֲרֵי יָת מָן דְּאִיתוֹהִי הָכָא עִמָּנָא קָאֵם יוֹמָא דֵין קֳדָם יְיָ אֱלָהָנָא וְיָת דִּי לֵיתוֹהִי הָכָא עִמָּנָא יוֹמָא דֵין:
12. in order to establish you before Him today as a people and He will be God to you, as He spoke to you and as He swore to your fathers – to Avraham, to Yitzchak and to Yaakov. 13. And not with you alone (do) I forge this covenant and this oath, 14. but with one who is here, standing with us today before Hashem our God, and with one who is not here with us today.
