Parshas Ki Savo - Rishon
Chapter 26
(א) וְהָיָה֙ כִּֽי־תָב֣וֹא אֶל־הָאָ֔רֶץ אֲשֶׁר֙ יְהֹוָ֣ה אֱלֹהֶ֔יךָ נֹתֵ֥ן לְךָ֖ נַחֲלָ֑ה וִֽירִשְׁתָּ֖הּ וְיָשַׁ֥בְתָּ בָּֽהּ׃ (ב) וְלָקַחְתָּ֞ מֵרֵאשִׁ֣ית ׀ כׇּל־פְּרִ֣י הָאֲדָמָ֗ה אֲשֶׁ֨ר תָּבִ֧יא מֵֽאַרְצְךָ֛ אֲשֶׁ֨ר יְהֹוָ֧ה אֱלֹהֶ֛יךָ נֹתֵ֥ן לָ֖ךְ וְשַׂמְתָּ֣ בַטֶּ֑נֶא וְהָֽלַכְתָּ֙ אֶל־הַמָּק֔וֹם אֲשֶׁ֤ר יִבְחַר֙ יְהֹוָ֣ה אֱלֹהֶ֔יךָ לְשַׁכֵּ֥ן שְׁמ֖וֹ שָֽׁם׃ (ג) וּבָאתָ֙ אֶל־הַכֹּהֵ֔ן אֲשֶׁ֥ר יִהְיֶ֖ה בַּיָּמִ֣ים הָהֵ֑ם וְאָמַרְתָּ֣ אֵלָ֗יו הִגַּ֤דְתִּי הַיּוֹם֙ לַיהֹוָ֣ה אֱלֹהֶ֔יךָ כִּי־בָ֙אתִי֙ אֶל־הָאָ֔רֶץ אֲשֶׁ֨ר נִשְׁבַּ֧ע יְהֹוָ֛ה לַאֲבֹתֵ֖ינוּ לָ֥תֶת לָֽנוּ׃ (ד) וְלָקַ֧ח הַכֹּהֵ֛ן הַטֶּ֖נֶא מִיָּדֶ֑ךָ וְהִ֨נִּיח֔וֹ לִפְנֵ֕י מִזְבַּ֖ח יְהֹוָ֥ה אֱלֹהֶֽיךָ׃ (ה) וְעָנִ֨יתָ וְאָמַרְתָּ֜ לִפְנֵ֣י ׀ יְהֹוָ֣ה אֱלֹהֶ֗יךָ אֲרַמִּי֙ אֹבֵ֣ד אָבִ֔י וַיֵּ֣רֶד מִצְרַ֔יְמָה וַיָּ֥גׇר שָׁ֖ם בִּמְתֵ֣י מְעָ֑ט וַֽיְהִי־שָׁ֕ם לְג֥וֹי גָּד֖וֹל עָצ֥וּם וָרָֽב׃ (ו) וַיָּרֵ֧עוּ אֹתָ֛נוּ הַמִּצְרִ֖ים וַיְעַנּ֑וּנוּ וַיִּתְּנ֥וּ עָלֵ֖ינוּ עֲבֹדָ֥ה קָשָֽׁה׃ (ז) וַנִּצְעַ֕ק אֶל־יְהֹוָ֖ה אֱלֹהֵ֣י אֲבֹתֵ֑ינוּ וַיִּשְׁמַ֤ע יְהֹוָה֙ אֶת־קֹלֵ֔נוּ וַיַּ֧רְא אֶת־עׇנְיֵ֛נוּ וְאֶת־עֲמָלֵ֖נוּ וְאֶֽת־לַחֲצֵֽנוּ׃ (ח) וַיּוֹצִאֵ֤נוּ יְהֹוָה֙ מִמִּצְרַ֔יִם בְּיָ֤ד חֲזָקָה֙ וּבִזְרֹ֣עַ נְטוּיָ֔ה וּבְמֹרָ֖א גָּדֹ֑ל וּבְאֹת֖וֹת וּבְמֹפְתִֽים׃ (ט) וַיְבִאֵ֖נוּ אֶל־הַמָּק֣וֹם הַזֶּ֑ה וַיִּתֶּן־לָ֙נוּ֙ אֶת־הָאָ֣רֶץ הַזֹּ֔את אֶ֛רֶץ זָבַ֥ת חָלָ֖ב וּדְבָֽשׁ׃ (י) וְעַתָּ֗ה הִנֵּ֤ה הֵבֵ֙אתִי֙ אֶת־רֵאשִׁית֙ פְּרִ֣י הָאֲדָמָ֔ה אֲשֶׁר־נָתַ֥תָּה לִּ֖י יְהֹוָ֑ה וְהִנַּחְתּ֗וֹ לִפְנֵי֙ יְהֹוָ֣ה אֱלֹהֶ֔יךָ וְהִֽשְׁתַּחֲוִ֔יתָ לִפְנֵ֖י יְהֹוָ֥ה אֱלֹהֶֽיךָ׃ (יא) וְשָׂמַחְתָּ֣ בְכׇל־הַטּ֗וֹב אֲשֶׁ֧ר נָֽתַן־לְךָ֛ יְהֹוָ֥ה אֱלֹהֶ֖יךָ וּלְבֵיתֶ֑ךָ אַתָּה֙ וְהַלֵּוִ֔י וְהַגֵּ֖ר אֲשֶׁ֥ר בְּקִרְבֶּֽךָ׃ {ס}
(א) וִיהֵי אֲרֵי תֵעוּל לְאַרְעָא דִּי יְיָ אֱלָהָךְ יָהֵב לָךְ אַחֲסָנָא וְתֵירְתַהּ וְתֵיתֵב בַּהּ: (ב) וְתִסַּב מֵרֵישׁ כָּל אִבָּא דְאַרְעָא דִּי תָעֵל מֵאַרְעָךְ דִּי יְיָ אֱלָהָךְ יָהֵב לָךְ וּתְשַׁוֵּי בְסַלָּא וּתְהַךְ לְאַתְרָא דִּי יִתִּרְעֵי יְיָ אֱלָהָךְ לְאַשְׁרָאָה שְׁכִנְתֵּיהּ תַּמָּן: (ג) וְתֵיתֵי לְוָת כַּהֲנָא דִּי יְהֵי בְּיוֹמַיָּא הָאִנּוּן וְתֵימַר לֵיהּ חַוֵּיתִי יוֹמָא דֵין קֳדָם יְיָ אֱלָהָךְ אֲרֵי עַלִּית לְאַרְעָא דִּי קַיִּים יְיָ לַאֲבָהָתָנָא לְמִתַּן לָנָא: (ד) וְיִסַּב כַּהֲנָא סַלָּא מִידָךְ וְיַחְתִנֵּיהּ קֳדָם מַדְבְּחָא דַּיְיָ אֱלָהָךְ: (ה) וְתָתֵיב וְתֵימַר קֳדָם יְיָ אֱלָהָךְ לָבָן אֲרַמָּאָה בָּעָא לְאוֹבָדָא יָת אַבָּא וּנְחַת לְמִצְרַיִם וְדָר תַּמָּן בְּעַם זְעֵר וַהֲוָה תַמָּן לְעַם רַב תַּקִּיף וְסַגִּי: (ו) וְאַבְאִישׁוּ לָנָא מִצְרַיִם וְעַנְּיָנָא וִיהָבוּ עֲלָנָא פָּלְחָנָא קַשְׁיָא: (ז) וְצַלֵּינָא קֳדָם יְיָ אֱלָהָא דַאֲבָהָתָנָא וְקַבִּיל יְיָ צְלוֹתָנָא וּגְלֵי קֳדָמוֹהִי עַמְלָנָא וְלֵאוּתָנָא וְדוּחֲקָנָא: (ח) וְאַפְּקָנָא יְיָ מִמִּצְרַיִם בִּידָא תַקִּיפָא וּבִדְרָעָא מְרָמְמָא וּבְחֶזְוָנָא רַבָּא וּבְאָתִין וּבְמוֹפְתִין: (ט) וְאַיְתָנָא לְאַתְרָא הָדֵין וִיהַב לָנָא יָת אַרְעָא הָדָא אַרְעָא עָבְדָא חֲלַב וּדְבָשׁ: (י) וּכְעַן הָא אַיְתֵתִי יָת רֵישׁ אִבָּא דְאַרְעָא דִּיהַבְתְּ לִי יְיָ וְתַחְתִנֵיהּ קֳדָם יְיָ אֱלָהָךְ וְתִסְגּוּד קֳדָם יְיָ אֱלָהָךְ: (יא) וְתֶחֱדֵי בְכָל טַבְתָא דִּי יְהַב לָךְ יְיָ אֱלָהָךְ וְלֶאֱנַשׁ בֵּיתָךְ אַתְּ וְלֵוָאֵי וְגִיּוֹרָא דִּי בֵינָךְ:
1. It shall be, when you come to the land that Hashem your God gives you as an inheritance, and you inherit it and settle in it, 2. you shall take from the first of every fruit of the ground, that you bring in from the land that Hashem your God gives to you. Put it in a basket and go to the place that Hashem your God will favor to cause His presence to dwell there. 3. You shall come to the priest who will be in those days and say to him, ‘I profess today before Hashem your God that I have come to the land that Hashem swore to our fathers to give us.’ 4. The priest shall take the basket from your hand and place it before the altar of Hashem your God. 5. You shall answer and you shall say before Hashem your God, ‘Lavan the Aramean sought to destroy my father.[1] He went down to Egypt and dwelled there with a people few in number, and there he became a great nation – mighty and numerous. 6. The Egyptians treated us badly and oppressed us; they placed upon us hard labor. 7. We prayed before Hashem, the God of our fathers, and Hashem accepted our prayer;[2] our labor, our fatigue and our oppression was revealed before Him. 8. Hashem took us out from Egypt with a strong hand, and with an upraised arm, and with great visions, and with signs and with wonders. 9. He brought us to this place and He gave us this land, a land that generates milk and honey. 10. And now behold, I have brought the first fruits of the ground that You, Hashem, have given me.’ You shall place it before Hashem your God, and you shall bow before Hashem your God. 11. And you shall rejoice in all the good that Hashem your God has given you and the members of your household – you and the Levite and the convert who is in your midst.
