Chapter 23
(א) וַיְדַבֵּ֥ר יְהֹוָ֖ה אֶל־מֹשֶׁ֥ה לֵּאמֹֽר׃ (ב) דַּבֵּ֞ר אֶל־בְּנֵ֤י יִשְׂרָאֵל֙ וְאָמַרְתָּ֣ אֲלֵהֶ֔ם מוֹעֲדֵ֣י יְהֹוָ֔ה אֲשֶׁר־תִּקְרְא֥וּ אֹתָ֖ם מִקְרָאֵ֣י קֹ֑דֶשׁ אֵ֥לֶּה הֵ֖ם מוֹעֲדָֽי׃ (ג) שֵׁ֣שֶׁת יָמִים֮ תֵּעָשֶׂ֣ה מְלָאכָה֒ וּבַיּ֣וֹם הַשְּׁבִיעִ֗י שַׁבַּ֤ת שַׁבָּתוֹן֙ מִקְרָא־קֹ֔דֶשׁ כׇּל־מְלָאכָ֖ה לֹ֣א תַעֲשׂ֑וּ שַׁבָּ֥ת הִוא֙ לַֽיהֹוָ֔ה בְּכֹ֖ל מוֹשְׁבֹֽתֵיכֶֽם׃ {פ}
(א) וּמַלִּיל יְיָ עִם משֶׁה לְמֵימָר: (ב) מַלֵּיל עִם בְּנֵי יִשְׁרָאֵל וְתֵימַר לְהוֹן מוֹעֲדַיָּא דַיְיָ דִּי תְעָרְעוּן יָתְהוֹן מְעָרְעֵי קַדִּישׁ אִלֵּין אִנּוּן מוֹעֲדָי: (ג) שִׁתָּא יוֹמִין תִּתְעֲבֵד עִבִידָא וּבְיוֹמָא שְׁבִיעָאָה שְׁבַת שְׁבָתָא מְעָרַע קַדִּישׁ כָּל עִבִידָא לָא תַעְבְּדוּן שַׁבְּתָא הִיא קֳדָם יְיָ בְּכֹל מוֹתְבָנֵיכוֹן:
1. Hashem spoke with Moshe, saying: 2. Speak with the children of Israel and say to them: The appointed times of Hashem that you shall celebrate them as holy occasions;[1] these are they, My appointed times. 3. Six days you may perform labor and on the seventh day a Sabbath of complete rest,[2] a holy occasion – all labor do not perform; it is Sabbath before Hashem in all your settlements.
(ד) אֵ֚לֶּה מוֹעֲדֵ֣י יְהֹוָ֔ה מִקְרָאֵ֖י קֹ֑דֶשׁ אֲשֶׁר־תִּקְרְא֥וּ אֹתָ֖ם בְּמוֹעֲדָֽם׃ (ה) בַּחֹ֣דֶשׁ הָרִאשׁ֗וֹן בְּאַרְבָּעָ֥ה עָשָׂ֛ר לַחֹ֖דֶשׁ בֵּ֣ין הָעַרְבָּ֑יִם פֶּ֖סַח לַיהֹוָֽה׃ (ו) וּבַחֲמִשָּׁ֨ה עָשָׂ֥ר יוֹם֙ לַחֹ֣דֶשׁ הַזֶּ֔ה חַ֥ג הַמַּצּ֖וֹת לַיהֹוָ֑ה שִׁבְעַ֥ת יָמִ֖ים מַצּ֥וֹת תֹּאכֵֽלוּ׃ (ז) בַּיּוֹם֙ הָֽרִאשׁ֔וֹן מִקְרָא־קֹ֖דֶשׁ יִהְיֶ֣ה לָכֶ֑ם כׇּל־מְלֶ֥אכֶת עֲבֹדָ֖ה לֹ֥א תַעֲשֽׂוּ׃ (ח) וְהִקְרַבְתֶּ֥ם אִשֶּׁ֛ה לַיהֹוָ֖ה שִׁבְעַ֣ת יָמִ֑ים בַּיּ֤וֹם הַשְּׁבִיעִי֙ מִקְרָא־קֹ֔דֶשׁ כׇּל־מְלֶ֥אכֶת עֲבֹדָ֖ה לֹ֥א תַעֲשֽׂוּ׃ {פ}
(ד) אִלֵּין מוֹעֲדַיָּא דַיְיָ מְעָרְעֵי קַדִּישׁ דִּי תְעָרְעוּן יָתְהוֹן בְּזִמְנֵיהוֹן: (ה) בְּיַרְחָא קַדְמָאָה בְּאַרְבְּעַת עַשְׂרָא לְיַרְחָא בֵּין שִׁמְשַׁיָּא פִּסְחָא קֳדָם יְיָ: (ו) וּבְחַמְשַׁת עַשְׂרָא יוֹמָא לְיַרְחָא הָדֵין חַגָּא דְּפַטִּירַיָּא קֳדָם יְיָ שִׁבְעָא יוֹמִין פַּטִּיר תֵּיכְלוּן: (ז) בְּיוֹמָא קַדְמָאָה מְעָרַע קַדִּישׁ יִהֵי לְכוֹן כָּל עִבִידַת פָּלְחַן לָא תַעְבְּדוּן: (ח) וּתְקָרְבוּן קֻרְבָּנָא קֳדָם יְיָ שִׁבְעָא יוֹמִין בְּיוֹמָא שְׁבִיעָאָה מְעָרַע קַדִּישׁ כָּל עִבִידַת פָּלְחָן לָא תַעְבְּדוּן:
4. These are the appointed times of Hashem, the holy occasions, that you shall celebrate them in their appointed times.[3] 5. In the first month, on the fourteenth day of the month, at twilight, Passover before Hashem. 6. And on the fifteenth day of this month the festival of unleavened bread before Hashem; (for) seven days you shall eat unleavened bread.[4] 7. On the first day it will be a holy occasion to you; all labor of work you shall not perform. 8. You shall offer an offering before Hashem (for) seven days. On the seventh day, a holy occasion; all labor of work you shall not perform.
(ט) וַיְדַבֵּ֥ר יְהֹוָ֖ה אֶל־מֹשֶׁ֥ה לֵּאמֹֽר׃ (י) דַּבֵּ֞ר אֶל־בְּנֵ֤י יִשְׂרָאֵל֙ וְאָמַרְתָּ֣ אֲלֵהֶ֔ם כִּֽי־תָבֹ֣אוּ אֶל־הָאָ֗רֶץ אֲשֶׁ֤ר אֲנִי֙ נֹתֵ֣ן לָכֶ֔ם וּקְצַרְתֶּ֖ם אֶת־קְצִירָ֑הּ וַהֲבֵאתֶ֥ם אֶת־עֹ֛מֶר רֵאשִׁ֥ית קְצִירְכֶ֖ם אֶל־הַכֹּהֵֽן׃ (יא) וְהֵנִ֧יף אֶת־הָעֹ֛מֶר לִפְנֵ֥י יְהֹוָ֖ה לִֽרְצֹנְכֶ֑ם מִֽמׇּחֳרַת֙ הַשַּׁבָּ֔ת יְנִיפֶ֖נּוּ הַכֹּהֵֽן׃ (יב) וַעֲשִׂיתֶ֕ם בְּי֥וֹם הֲנִֽיפְכֶ֖ם אֶת־הָעֹ֑מֶר כֶּ֣בֶשׂ תָּמִ֧ים בֶּן־שְׁנָת֛וֹ לְעֹלָ֖ה לַיהֹוָֽה׃ (יג) וּמִנְחָתוֹ֩ שְׁנֵ֨י עֶשְׂרֹנִ֜ים סֹ֣לֶת בְּלוּלָ֥ה בַשֶּׁ֛מֶן אִשֶּׁ֥ה לַיהֹוָ֖ה רֵ֣יחַ נִיחֹ֑חַ וְנִסְכֹּ֥ה יַ֖יִן רְבִיעִ֥ת הַהִֽין׃ (יד) וְלֶ֩חֶם֩ וְקָלִ֨י וְכַרְמֶ֜ל לֹ֣א תֹֽאכְל֗וּ עַד־עֶ֙צֶם֙ הַיּ֣וֹם הַזֶּ֔ה עַ֚ד הֲבִ֣יאֲכֶ֔ם אֶת־קׇרְבַּ֖ן אֱלֹהֵיכֶ֑ם חֻקַּ֤ת עוֹלָם֙ לְדֹרֹ֣תֵיכֶ֔ם בְּכֹ֖ל מֹשְׁבֹֽתֵיכֶֽם׃ {ס}
(ט) וּמַלִּיל יְיָ עִם משֶׁה לְמֵימָר: (י) מַלֵּיל עִם בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל וְתֵימַר לְהוֹן אֲרֵי תֵעֲלוּן לְאַרְעָא דִּי אֲנָא יָהֵב לְכוֹן וְתַחְצְדוּן יָת חֲצָדַהּ וְתַיְתוּן יָת עוּמְרָא רֵישׁ חֲצָדְכוֹן לְוָת כַּהֲנָא: (יא) וִירִים יָת עוּמְרָא קֳדָם יְיָ לְרַעֲוָא לְכוֹן מִבָּתַר יוֹמָא טָבָא יְרִימִנֵּיהּ כַּהֲנָא: (יב) וְתַעְבְּדוּן בְּיוֹמָא דַאֲרָמוּתְכוֹן יָת עוּמְרָא אִמַּר שְׁלִים בַּר שַׁתֵּיהּ לַעֲלָתָא קֳדָם יְיָ: (יג) וּמִנְחָתֵיהּ תְּרֵין עֶשְׁרוֹנִין סֻלְתָּא דְּפִילָא בִמְשַׁח קֻרְבָּנָא קֳדָם יְיָ לְאִתְקַבָּלָא בְרַעֲוָא וְנִסְכֵּיהּ חַמְרָא רַבְעוּת הִינָא: (יד) וּלְחֵם וּקְלִי וּפֵרוּכָן לָא תֵיכְלוּן עַד כְּרַן יוֹמָא הָדֵין עַד אַיְתוֹאֵיכוֹן יָת קֻרְבָּן אֱלָהָכוֹן קְיַם עָלָם לְדָרֵיכוֹן בְּכֹל מוֹתְבָנֵיכוֹן:
9. Hashem spoke with Moshe, saying: 10. Speak with the children of Israel and say to them: When you come to the land that I give to you and you reap its harvest, you shall bring an omer[5] of your first harvesting to the priest. 11. He shall elevate[6] the omer before Hashem for your favor; on the day after the holiday[7] the priest shall elevate it. 12. You shall make, on the day of your elevating the omer, an unblemished lamb in its first year as a burnt offering before Hashem. 13. And its flour offering: two-tenths (of an ephah) of fine flour mixed with oil, an offering before Hashem to be accepted with favor.[8] And its libation: wine, a quarter of a hin. 14. Bread and parched grain and ground kernels[9] you shall not eat until the arrival of this day, until your bringing of the offering of your God; it is an eternal statute for your generations in all your settlements.
(טו) וּסְפַרְתֶּ֤ם לָכֶם֙ מִמׇּחֳרַ֣ת הַשַּׁבָּ֔ת מִיּוֹם֙ הֲבִ֣יאֲכֶ֔ם אֶת־עֹ֖מֶר הַתְּנוּפָ֑ה שֶׁ֥בַע שַׁבָּת֖וֹת תְּמִימֹ֥ת תִּהְיֶֽינָה׃ (טז) עַ֣ד מִֽמׇּחֳרַ֤ת הַשַּׁבָּת֙ הַשְּׁבִיעִ֔ת תִּסְפְּר֖וּ חֲמִשִּׁ֣ים י֑וֹם וְהִקְרַבְתֶּ֛ם מִנְחָ֥ה חֲדָשָׁ֖ה לַיהֹוָֽה׃ (יז) מִמּוֹשְׁבֹ֨תֵיכֶ֜ם תָּבִ֣יאּוּ ׀ לֶ֣חֶם תְּנוּפָ֗ה שְׁ֚תַּיִם שְׁנֵ֣י עֶשְׂרֹנִ֔ים סֹ֣לֶת תִּהְיֶ֔ינָה חָמֵ֖ץ תֵּאָפֶ֑ינָה בִּכּוּרִ֖ים לַֽיהֹוָֽה׃ (יח) וְהִקְרַבְתֶּ֣ם עַל־הַלֶּ֗חֶם שִׁבְעַ֨ת כְּבָשִׂ֤ים תְּמִימִם֙ בְּנֵ֣י שָׁנָ֔ה וּפַ֧ר בֶּן־בָּקָ֛ר אֶחָ֖ד וְאֵילִ֣ם שְׁנָ֑יִם יִהְי֤וּ עֹלָה֙ לַֽיהֹוָ֔ה וּמִנְחָתָם֙ וְנִסְכֵּיהֶ֔ם אִשֵּׁ֥ה רֵֽיחַ־נִיחֹ֖חַ לַיהֹוָֽה׃ (יט) וַעֲשִׂיתֶ֛ם שְׂעִיר־עִזִּ֥ים אֶחָ֖ד לְחַטָּ֑את וּשְׁנֵ֧י כְבָשִׂ֛ים בְּנֵ֥י שָׁנָ֖ה לְזֶ֥בַח שְׁלָמִֽים׃ (כ) וְהֵנִ֣יף הַכֹּהֵ֣ן ׀ אֹתָ֡ם עַל֩ לֶ֨חֶם הַבִּכֻּרִ֤ים תְּנוּפָה֙ לִפְנֵ֣י יְהֹוָ֔ה עַל־שְׁנֵ֖י כְּבָשִׂ֑ים קֹ֛דֶשׁ יִהְי֥וּ לַיהֹוָ֖ה לַכֹּהֵֽן׃ (כא) וּקְרָאתֶ֞ם בְּעֶ֣צֶם ׀ הַיּ֣וֹם הַזֶּ֗ה מִֽקְרָא־קֹ֙דֶשׁ֙ יִהְיֶ֣ה לָכֶ֔ם כׇּל־מְלֶ֥אכֶת עֲבֹדָ֖ה לֹ֣א תַעֲשׂ֑וּ חֻקַּ֥ת עוֹלָ֛ם בְּכׇל־מוֹשְׁבֹ֥תֵיכֶ֖ם לְדֹרֹֽתֵיכֶֽם׃ (כב) וּֽבְקֻצְרְכֶ֞ם אֶת־קְצִ֣יר אַרְצְכֶ֗ם לֹֽא־תְכַלֶּ֞ה פְּאַ֤ת שָֽׂדְךָ֙ בְּקֻצְרֶ֔ךָ וְלֶ֥קֶט קְצִירְךָ֖ לֹ֣א תְלַקֵּ֑ט לֶֽעָנִ֤י וְלַגֵּר֙ תַּעֲזֹ֣ב אֹתָ֔ם אֲנִ֖י יְהֹוָ֥ה אֱלֹהֵיכֶֽם׃ {פ}
(טו) וְתִמְנוּן לְכוֹן מִבָּתַר יוֹמָא טָבָא מִיּוֹם אַיְתוֹאֵיכוֹן יָת עוּמְרָא דַאֲרָמוּתָא שִׁבְעָא שָׁבוּעִין שַׁלְמִין יְהֶוְיָן: (טז) עַד מִבָּתַר שְׁבוּעֲתָא שְׁבִיעֵתָא תִּמְנוּן חַמְשִׁין יוֹמִין וּתְקָרְבוּן מִנְחָתָא חֲדַתָּא קֳדָם יְיָ: (יז) מִמּוֹתְבָנֵיכוֹן תַּיְתוּן לְחֵם אֲרָמוּתָא תַּרְתֵּין גְּרִיצַן תְּרֵין עֶשְׁרוֹנִין סֻלְתָּא יְהֶוְיָן חֲמִיעַ יִתְאַפְיָן בִּכּוּרִין קֳדָם יְיָ: (יח) וּתְקָרְבוּן עַל לַחְמָא שִׁבְעָא אִמְּרִין שַׁלְמִין בְּנֵי שְׁנָא וְתוֹר בַּר תּוֹרֵי חַד וְדִכְרִין תְּרֵין יְהוֹן עֲלָתָא קֳדָם יְיָ וּמִנְחָתְהוֹן וְנִסְכֵּיהוֹן קֻרְבַּן דְּמִתְקַבֵּל בְּרַעֲוָא קֳדָם יְיָ: (יט) וְתַעְבְּדוּן צְפִיר בַּר עִזֵּי חַד לְחַטָּאתָא וּתְרֵין אִמְּרִין בְּנֵי שְׁנָא לְנִכְסַת קוּדְשַׁיָּא: (כ) וִירִים כַּהֲנָא יָתְהוֹן עַל לְחֵם בִּכּוּרַיָּא אֲרָמוּתָא קֳדָם יְיָ עַל תְּרֵין אִמְּרִין קוּדְשָׁא יְהוֹן קֳדָם יְיָ לְכַהֲנָא: (כא) וּתְעָרְעוּן בִּכְרַן יוֹמָא הָדֵין מְעָרַע קַדִּישׁ יְהֵי לְכוֹן כָּל עִבִידַת פָּלְחָן לָא תַעְבְּדוּן קְיַם עָלָם בְּכָל מוֹתְבָנֵיכוֹן לְדָרֵיכוֹן: (כב) וּבְמֶחֱצָדְכוֹן יָת חֲצָדָא דְאַרְעֲכוֹן לָא תְשֵׁיצֵי פָּאתָא דְחַקְלָךְ בְּמֶחֱצָדָךְ וּלְקָטָא דַחֲצָדָךְ לָא תְלַקֵּט לְעַנְיֵי וּלְגִיּוֹרֵי תִּשְׁבּוֹק יָתְהוֹן אֲנָא יְיָ אֱלָהָכוֹן:
15. You shall count for yourselves from the day after the holiday, from the day of your bringing the omer that is elevated, seven weeks; They shall be complete. 16. Until the day after the seventh week[10] you shall count 50 days. You shall offer new flour offering before Hashem. 17. From your settlements you shall bring bread of elevation – two loaves:[11] two-tenths of an ephah of fine flour they shall be, leavened you shall bake it, first fruits before Hashem. 18. You shall present, with[12] the bread, seven unblemished lambs in their first year, and one young ox and two rams; they will be a burnt offering before Hashem, and their flour offerings and libations, an offering to be accepted with favor before Hashem. 19. You shall also offer one male, the son of goats,[13] as a sin offering and two lambs in their first year as a holiness sacrifice. 20. The priest shall elevate them with the bread of first fruits as an elevation offering before Hashem, with the two lambs. They shall be holy before Hashem, for the priest. 21. You shall celebrate on the arrival of that day, it shall be a holy occasion for you – all labor of work you shall not perform. (This is) an eternal statute in all your settlements, for your generations. 22. And in your reaping the harvest of your land, do not finish (reaping) the corner(s) of your field, and the gleanings of your harvest do not glean; for the poor and for the converts[14] you shall leave them. I am Hashem your God.
