Bikkurim 1:7-8

Bikkurim 1:7

If a person separated his first fruits and then sold his field, he brings them to the Temple but does not recite the text. The one who bought the field would not bring the same type of produce as the seller but he would bring other types of produce and recite the text. Rabbi Yehuda says that the buyer would even bring from the same type of produce and recite the text.

Bikkurim 1:8

If a person separated his first fruits and they were lost, stolen, rendered ritually impure or decayed, he brings other produce in their place but he doesn’t recite the text. If the replacement produce is misappropriated, the offender does not add one-fifth. If the original produce is rendered ritually impure in the Temple courtyard, it is scattered (i.e., he no longer replaces them) and he does not recite the text.
