2,616. Blood Mixed With Water

Hilchos Shechita 14:5

If one slaughters multiple birds and several kinds of wild animals in the same place, he recites the blessing once and covers all the blood together.

Hilchos Shechita 14:6

If blood gets mixed with water, one must cover it if it still looks like blood; if it doesn’t, he need not do so. If it got mixed with wine or blood from a domesticated animal, one treats the other liquid as if it were water, i.e., if such a volume of liquid were water, would the resulting mixture look like blood? If yes, one must cover it all; if no, he need not do so.
