Horayos 3:6-7
Horayos 3:6
Something that is more frequent takes priority over something that is less frequent and something holier takes priority over something less holy. If the Kohein Gadol’s bull and the people’s bull are both waiting to be offered, the bull of the Kohein Gadol takes priority in every way.
Horayos 3:7
A man takes priority over a woman when it comes to having his life saved and to returning lost property, while a woman takes priority in clothing and in being released from captivity. If both are in danger of being violated, then the man takes priority over the woman.
