2,207. Rumors About a Kohein's Fiancée
Hilchos Issurei Biah 17:20
If a rumor spreads in the city that a certain woman was betrothed and subsequently divorced from betrothal, we are concerned about her status as was explained in Hilchos Geirushin 10:20. However, if a rumor spreads that she performed chalitzah, we are unconcerned.
Hilchos Issurei Biah 17:21
If a rumor spreads that a virgin has previously been intimate, we are not concerned and she may still marry a Kohein Gadol. The same is true if a rumor spreads that she’s a servant or that she has been behaving promiscuously. Even if her fiancé separated from her because she violated the accepted modesty practices or because witnesses testified that she was acting unseemly, if he dies without giving her a get, she may marry a kohein. A woman is not prohibited to a kohein because of such things unless they’re firmly established or she admits to them.
