2,120. Those Who Are Unlikely to See Blood
Hilchos Issurei Biah 9:33
Pursuant to the previous halacha, let’s say that all the women checked themselves and found themselves to be clean. One who is not likely to see blood can ascribe the stain to one who is. Therefore, one who is unlikely remains clean and one who is likely will be unclean. For example, if one of the woman is pregnant and another one isn’t, the pregnant woman remains clean and the one who isn’t pregnant is unclean. If one woman was nursing and another wasn’t, the one who is nursing is clean. If one is an old woman and one isn’t, the old woman is clean. If one is a “virgin” (i.e., has never yet had her period) and one has had her period before, the one who has not is clean. If all the women are pregnant, older, nursing or all have not yet gotten their period, they are all unclean.
Hilchos Issurei Biah 9:34
Let’s say that three women slept in the same bed, entering it from the foot (so that none of them passed over the spot where another would be sleeping). If blood was found under the woman in the middle, all three are unclean; under the innermost one, she and the woman next to her are unclean but the woman on the outside is clean; under the outermost one, she and the woman next to her side are unclean but the woman on the inside is clean. If they didn’t climb in from the foot of the bed and therefore have no order, then if blood is found under any of them, all of them are ritually unclean.
