2,074. Seeing Zivah Blood on the Second and Third Days
Hilchos Issurei Biah 6:10
If the woman also saw blood on the second day after she immersed herself, whether at night or by day, that day is also unclean and she must watch herself again that night. If there are no further signs of bleeding that night, she should get up in the morning and immerse in a mikvah after sunrise. She must again watch herself throughout the day and if there are no further signs of bleeding, then it is a clean day corresponding to the two unclean days and she is permitted to her husband that night.
Hilchos Issurei Biah 6:11
If the woman saw blood on the third day, whether by day or at night, she is a major zavah and must count seven clean days without bleeding as per Leviticus 15:28, “She must count seven days for herself.” She immerses on the seventh day after sunrise and is permitted to her husband that night. On the eighth day, she brings an offering of two pigeons or two doves.
