148. Y’hi Ratzon
23:27 On Mondays and Thursdays, after the Torah has been raised, the shaliach tzibbur says the prayer “Y’hi ratzon...” (He need not wait until the Torah is finished being rolled – Mishnah Brurah 147:22.) The congregation should listen and respond with “Amen.” On days when Tachanun is not said, the “Y’hi ratzo” is also not recited. 23:28 After this, the Torah is returned the aron. It is a mitzvah for anyone past whom the Torah is carried, as well as for the one who lifted it and the one who rolled it, to accompany the Torah almost all the way to the aron.
