MB4 239a: Carrying Within an Enclosure Without an Eruv Chatzeros (372:1)
Carrying within an enclosed area and between enclosed areas is permitted even without an eruv. The same applies to the roof above the enclosed area (based on גוד אסיק) assuming the roof doesn't extend beyond the walls of the house. Adjacent enclosures only need an eruv in order to move items from a house into the enclosures.
If items were in a chatzer during ben hashmashot the items can be moved to an adjacent chatzer even if an eruv wasn't made with that chatzer.
