Chaggai #4 (Chapter 1)

Chaggai's message is that the people are incorrect in saying that it's not yet time to rebuild the Beit HaMikdash. The rebuilding had been stopped twice and therefore the people were hesitant to rebuild. Additionally, they hadn't seen any signs that it was time to rebuild (e.g. the war of Gog uMagog). He shows them that they have been punished because of their neglect (they planted but harvested little, etc.).
