762. Laundry on Chol HaMoed
104:12 It is likewise prohibited to cut one's nails on chol hamoed. (There is no prohibition against biting one’s nails on chol hamoed – Mishnah Brurah 532:3.) However, if one cut them before yom tov, one may also cut them on chol hamoed. Similarly, a woman may cut her nails in order to use the mikvah.
104:13 It is forbidden to launder anything, even for use on chol hamoed itself, unless it wasn't possible to do so before yom tov. Similarly, diapers may be washed because they are frequently soiled and they are needed constantly. (One may wash even four or five at a time – Rema 534:1.) One should be careful, however, only to wash them in private.
