The Gold Ring and the Chazir: Pnimiyut, Chitzoniyut, and the Mishkan
Mishlei 11:22: נזם זהב באף חזיר, אשה יפה וסרת טעם
The world was created with 40 types of labor, we have access to 39 of those, we are unable to create ex nihilo, יש מעין.
God is present everywhere but we have more of a capacity to absorb ruchniyut in specific places. So too, holiness is always present but we have more of a capacity to absorb it on Shabbos.
When Hashem gives Moshe the instructions for the Mishkan He ends with the warning to keep Shabbos. When Moshe relates the instructions to Bnei Yisrael he begins with Shabbos. Why does Moshe reverse the order?
Why does the daily functioning of the Mishkan override Shabbos whereas the building of the Mishkan does not?
