770. Transactions Permitted on Chol HaMoed

106:5 Items like fruits and spices that are needed during chol hamoed may be sold as usual, even in public. Since one may open his shop for the needs of Jews, he may also sell to non-Jews.

106:6 We permit collecting debts on chol hamoed even from Jews because a debt is considered something that may be lost.
