1,324. The Angle for a Course from 270 to 360 Degrees

If the course of the latitude is between 270 and 360 degrees, subtract it from 360 and calculate the angle for the result.

For example, if the course of the latitude is 150 degrees, subtract it from 180; this leaves 30. As noted in halacha 16:11, when the course is 30 degrees, its angle is 2 degrees, 30 minutes. Therefore, the angle for a course of 150 degrees is also 2 degrees, 30 minutes.
