Tzefania #4 (Chapter 3)

Tzefaniah calls Jerusalem "העיר היונה" which most of the mefarshim (Rashi, others) say is a pejorative term.

The Malbim writes that beginning at the time that Ashur exiled the ten tribes there were opportunities for the final geulah to occur but it hasn't come to fruition yet because we haven't been worthy.
