Tzefania #3 (Chapters 1-2)

The Navi describes the day of Hashem as a yom shoah, a day of catastrophe, a day of darkness. Tzephania uses language similar to his contemporary Yeshayahu as do the other Neviim of the time.

The word קושש (to gather) is a rarely used word as are many of the other words used by Tzefania.
