Rashi asks what Yitro heard that caused him to come - everyone heard, not just Yitro? Because he was the only one who heard and did something about it. What about the war with Amalek motivated him to come - usually war keeps people away?

The meaning of אנשי חיל.

Does the fact that Bnei Yisrael were forced to accept the Torah really mean that until they re-accepted the Torah at Purim time they weren't obligated in the Torah? If so, why would they have been in exile at that very time - they wouldn't have been liable for any sins committed that led to the churban! What then does it mean?
