1,307. Courses That Are Not a Multiple of Ten
Hilchos Kiddush HaChodesh 13:7
Until this point, we’ve only calculated angles using courses that are multiples of 10. Let’s say the course is 65 degrees. We already know that the angle for 60 degrees is 1 degree, 41 minutes and the angle for 70 degrees is 1 degree, 51 minutes. There are ten minutes between these figures so the change of a degree in the course will result in the change of a minute in the angle. Therefore, the angle for a course of 65 degrees is 1 degree, 46 minutes.

If the course is 67 degrees, the angle will be 1 degree, 48 minutes. The same process can be applied to calculations for any course that has both ones and tens, both for the sun and the moon.
