The Tzaddik Falls Seven Times (Part 2): Escaping the Inner Mitzrayim

Mishlei 24:16

Every day of the year, not just the Seder night, we recall Yetziat Mitzrayim, the Exodus from Egypt. How are they different? One difference is that on the Seder night we begin with the bad. Why do we have to discuss the negative; why not just discuss the positive?

The Tzadik who rises from a fall is greater than the tzadik who never fell. Even the greatest of gedolim had and have struggles. Seeing that even the greatest people had the same struggles is a source of chizuk and encouragement. (Making of a Gadol)
