Chavakuk #9 (Chapter Three), Introduction to Tzefania

Why is Chavakuk's prayer called a תפילה?

The other prophets of his time describe the downfall of Ashur and the salvation of the Kingdom of Yehudah. Chavakuk, on the other hand describes the long exile that is to come.

Who was Tzefania? He prophesied at the time of Yoshiyahu. Tzefania, Yirmiyahu, and Chulda were contemporaries. He is the only prophet for whom were are given four generations of lineage.
