Vayechi 5779

Rebbe Tzadok HaKohen: The fact that Yaakov reached his highest level and the Jewish people became a nation only in Egypt, outside the Land of Israel is a concept closed to us. This is alluded to by the closed parsha at beginning of Vayechi.

Emet L'Yaakov: Why did Yaakov bless the shevatim with the other ones present rather than call them in one at a time?

Why is Yosef's death recorded twice, at the end of Vayechi and again at the beginning of Shemot?
