The seeming contradiction within Rashi on when the servitude began as explained by the Maharal - שעבוד vs. צרת השעבוד.

Why does the closed parsha alluding to Yaakov's demise appear while Yaakov is still alive? How does this relate to the calculation of the 400 years of bondage?

Vayechi contains the beginning of the first exile but also alludes to the final redemption.

If Yaakov said Baruch Shem Kevod Malchuto.. why isn't it in the Torah?
