Antisemitism: The Oldest Hatred in the World

Parshat Toldot is the beginning of anti-Semitism and the key to understanding the phenomenon.

Why would the Philistines destroy the wells dug by Avraham rather than use them? What is the significance of Yitzchak calling them the same names as Avraham called them?

Avimelech evicts Yitzchak, accusing him of becoming wealthy through him. Nevertheless, even after he leaves they don't become more prosperous.

Wherever Yitzchak goes he digs wells, a symbol and source of life.
