"אוולת אדם תסלף דרכו ועל ה' יזעף לבו"

When we make bad choices, we must take responsibility rather than blame it on G-d (who often mitigates the effect of our bad choices). The Rav would say, when something happens we shouldn't ask why did G-d do this to me but rather this is my situation, what are my choices?
