Chanoch L'naar al pi Darko: Individuality and Teshuva (Mishlei 22:6)

"חנוך לנער על פי דרכו גם כי יזקין לא יסור ממנה"

The verse has two polar opposite meanings - if you give in to whatever your child wants they will develop bad habits. According to the Gra, it's describing what you should do - everyone has a unique personality, don't try to change it.

Ohr HaChaim quoting the Zohar discusses the parsha of Eshet Yefat Toar in Ki Teitzei as an allegory of the process of repentance. Rav Zevin explains why this allegory is connected to an optional war.
