Isaiah 40:28

Do you not know? If you haven’t heard, Hashem is the everlasting G-d, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He doesn’t get tired or weary. We cannot approach His understanding.

This is part of the Haftarah for parshas Lech L’cha. The Radak explains this verse as follows: G-d created the whole world, so He certainly supervises what goes on in it. One might think that He doesn’t immediately punish evildoers because being G-d is a big job and one simply can’t do everything. Not so! He has no limits, being by nature untiring. So why doesn’t G-d simply smite all the wrongdoers? We cannot say for sure, because His ways are ultimately beyond our comprehension.
