On Passover, if even the smallest amount of chometz gets mixed with something else, whether they are of like kinds or not, the mixture is prohibited. Even though it is prohibited to benefit from chometz that a Jew possessed on Passover, if it got mixed with something else - whether they are of like kinds or not - it may be eaten after Passover. Only pure chometz has the penalty and is forever prohibited. a mixture that contains chometz may be eaten after Passover.

Chometz u’Matzah 1:6

One is only liable for kareis (spiritual excision) if he eats pure chometz. If one eats a mixture that contains chometz, he is liable to the penalty of lashes for violating Exodus 12:20, “Do not eat any leaven.” This is the case when one eats an olive-size portion of chometz from the mixture within the time that it would take to eat three eggs or less. In such a case, one is Biblically liable to the penalty of lashes. If one does not consume this volume of chometz from the mixture within this time frame, then he is not subject to lashes even though what he ate is prohibited. In such a case, one is given the stripes administered for acting rebelliously.
