Numbers 28:2
צַו אֶת בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל וְאָמַרְתָּ אֲלֵהֶם אֶת קָרְבָּנִי לַחְמִי לְאִשַּׁי רֵיחַ נִיחֹחִי תִּשְׁמְרוּ לְהַקְרִיב לִי בְּמוֹעֲדוֹ
Command the children of Israel and say to them, "My food, which is presented to Me as offerings made by fire, a sweet fragrance to Me, you shall be careful to offer to Me at the proper time."
The korban tamid (daily offering) is described as part of the preliminary morning service. This verse is surprisingly hard for us to understand! Does G-d eat? Does He enjoy fragrances? Lacking nothing, does He actually need our sacrifices in any way? (No - the mitzvos were given for our benefit, not for His!) Accordingly, Onkelos softens the anthropomorphisms employed in the Hebrew. His Aramaic translation renders this verse, "Command the children of Israel and say to them, 'My offering of food, which is arranged as an offering to be accepted with pleasure, you shall be careful to place before Me at the proper time.'"
