896. Shehechiyanu on Yom Tov
Shabbos 29:23
Shehechiyanu is recited at night on every yom tov, and on the night of Yom Kippur. We do not recite shehechiyanu on the seventh day of Pesach because it is not its own holiday and we already recited shehechiyanu at the beginning of Pesach.
Shabbos 29:24
The order of havdalah on Saturday night is as follows: first the bracha over the wine, then the bracha over the spices, and then the bracha over the fire, which is that God “creates the lights of fire.” Finally, the bracha of havdalah is recited.
