847. Utensils for Prohibited Purposes
Shabbos 25:10
Any utensil that was set aside because it's used for a prohibited activity may not be handled. For example, we are not permitted to move a lamp that was lit for Shabbos, the candlestick supporting such a light or a table on which money is lying. This remains the case even if the light goes out or the money falls off. Whenever an object may not be handled during the twilight period on Friday, it remains prohibited to handle throughout Shabbos even if the circumstance that caused it to be prohibited has changed.
Shabbos 25:11
If a utensil was put aside because it is disgusting, like a kerosene lamp or a chamber pot, it may be handled on Shabbos if necessary.
