Sheviis 8:5-6

Sheviis 8:5

One may not give sabbatical produce as payment to a water-carrier, a bathhouse attendant, a barber or a sailor, but he may give them to the water-carrier in exchange for water to drink (since the produce may be spent on food and drink). They may be given to anyone as a gift.

Sheviis 8:6

Sabbatical figs may not be laid out to dry in a place designated for this purpose but they may be laid out to dry in a different place. One may not tread sabbatical grapes in a wine vat (as one normally does) but he may do so in a kneading trough. One may not crush sabbatical olives in a regular press or another vessel designed for this purpose but he may crush them and then put them into a miniature press. Rabbi Shimon says that one may grind the olives in a regular press then put them into the miniature press.
