363. Using Three Sifrei Torah

When Rosh Chodesh Adar falls on Shabbos, three Torah scrolls are used. The weekly Torah portion is read from the first, the reading of Rosh Chodesh from the second, and Ki Tisa from the third. Similarly, when Rosh Chodesh Nisan falls on Shabbos, three Torah scrolls are used. The weekly Torah portion is read from the first, the reading of Rosh Chodesh from the second, and parshas HaChodesh from the third.

When Rosh Chodesh Teves falls on Shabbos, three Torah scrolls are used. The weekly Torah portion is read from the first, the reading for Rosh Chodesh from the second, and the reading for Chanukah from the third. If Rosh Chodesh Teves falls during the week, three people read from the Rosh Chodesh section and the fourth reads the section for Chanukah.
