321. Davening Without Kavanah

Tefillah u’Birkas Kohanim 9:14

On Rosh Chodesh and chol hamoed, U’va L’Tziyon is recited before musaf. On Saturday nights, the order of kedusha found in U’va L’Tziyon is also recited after maariv, followed by kaddish and havdalah.

Tefillah u’Birkas Kohanim 10:1

If a person davened without proper concentration, he must daven a second time with concentration. If he had concentration for the first bracha, that is sufficient. If one makes a mistake in reciting the first three brachos of Shemoneh Esrei, he must go back to the beginning. If one makes a mistake in reciting the last three brachos, he goes back to the start of that section (i.e., R’tzei). If one makes a mistake in one of the middle brachos, he goes back to the start of that bracha and continues on from there in order. If the shaliach tzibbur makes a mistake when repeating Shemoneh Esrei, he should also act according to these parameters.
