265. Amidah on the High Holidays

Tefillah u’Birkas Kohanim 2:6

There are seven brachos in the evening, morning and afternoon prayer services on Shabbos and yom tov. In the musaf service on Rosh Hashana, nine blessings are recited: the same first three and last three brachos as on every other day, plus three intermediate brachos. The first of these is Malchiyos, about God's kingship; the second is Zichronos, about how God remembers; the third is Shofros, about blowing the shofar. Each one includes an appropriate conclusion.

Tefillah u’Birkas Kohanim 2:7

On Yom Kippur, one recites seven brachos in each of the five prayer services: the usual first three and the last three brachos, plus an intermediate bracha appropriate for the day. This bracha concludes that God is “King over all the Earth, Who sanctifies Israel and the Day of Atonement.” When Yom Kippur falls on Shabbos, this bracha concludes “King over all the Earth, Who sanctifies Shabbos, Israel and the Day of Atonement.”
