Zavim 5:11-12

Zavim 5:11

One who has a seminal emission is like one who touches a dead vermin, while one who is intimate with a menstruant woman is like one who has contracted corpse impurity. One who was intimate with a menstruant woman is more stringent in that he conveys a light impurity to what he lies or sits on, thereby conveying impurity to food and drink.

Zavim 5:12

The following invalidate trumah: One who eats food of first degree impurity; one who eats food of second-degree impurity; and who drinks ritually unclean beverages; one who (after ritual immersion) immerses his head and the greater part of his body in drawn water; a ritually clean person on whose head and the greater part of whose body fell three log of drawn water (about 42 ounces); a scroll (of Tanach); hands; one who immersed that same day; foods and utensils that were rendered unclean by liquids.
