167. Gifts To and From Idolators

Avodas Kochavim 9:2

It is prohibited to send a non-Jew a gift on one of their holidays unless he knows that the recipient is not an idolator. Similarly, if a non-Jew sends a Jew a gift on one of their holidays, the Jew should not accept it unless refusing will generate ill will. If he does accept it, he should not derive benefit from it until he ascertains that the non-Jew is not an idolator.

Avodas Kochavim 9:3

If an idolatrous holiday lasts for several days - three, four, ten, etc. - all the days are treated as a single day when it comes to the laws of what may be done on these days and on the three days preceding them.
