1,355. Changing Seats in Shul

211:14 A mourner is permitted to comb and brush his hair even during shiva.

211:15 The accepted practice is for the mourner to change his place in shul for the entire thirty days of shloshim, and for the entire twelve months after the death of a parent. His new seat should be at least four cubits from his regular spot, and farther from the aron.
