1,352. Changing Clothes

211:8 If a mourner changes clothes not for pleasure but because of some need, such as if the shirt he was wearing got dirty, or because of hygiene, this is permitted even during shiva and on a weekday (i.e., not for Shabbos), so long as someone else wears the garment first.

211:9 The mourner is permitted to wash and iron his clothes after shiva in order to wear them after shloshim, or even to wear them during shloshim if someone else wears them first.
