1,337. A Mourner's Animals

208:10 A mourner's animals that were rented out may be worked by the one who rented them since they were rented before the owner became a mourner. By renting the animals, the renter acquires them and it is considered as if they belong him. It is not permitted after the conclusion of the rental period.

208:11 The mourner is permitted to accept work to be performed after shiva ends so long as he doesn't weigh or measure his materials during shiva the way he would normally.
