1,311. For Whom to Mourn

202:16 Kohanim cannot compel the relatives of a deceased person to hurry up and remove the body from where it is so that they may return to their homes. We only compel the relatives to remove the deceased quickly if a kohein is ill and unable leave his house. This is so the kohein will not come to violate a Torah prohibition. If the deceased was a miscarriage, we require the relatives to remove it under all circumstances, even on Shabbos by a non-Jew.

203:1 A person is obligated to mourn for seven relatives: a father and mother, a son and daughter, a brother and sister - whether they're on the father's side or the mother's side, and even if the sister was married - and one's spouse.
